Jeremiah Pyron
Interim-Director, Existing Business Director
As Interim Director, Jeremiah works with local and national businesses on relocation and expansion efforts in Williamson County. Jeremiah engages with national site consultants, local business leaders, government officials and regional partners to further the economic growth in the county.
Prior to joining the Office of Economic Development, Jeremiah managed relationships for medium to large businesses at an information technology consulting firm in Cool Springs, while growing relationships with regional technology partners such as Microsoft, Cisco, EMC and Symantec. A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University he holds a degree in mass communications, with a focus in digital media and computer information systems. Jeremiah has 10 years of experience and involvement in the middle Tennessee business community. He is a graduate of Leadership Brentwood and is active in local Chambers of Commerce and nonprofit organizations.

Amanda Murray
Marketing Director
As Marketing Director, Amanda is responsible for increasing awareness of Williamson County and developing website, brand enhancement and external marketing activities that will encourage economic growth. She also assists in attracting new corporate investment in Williamson County and in working with existing companies on business retention or expansion strategies.
Prior to joining the Office of Economic Development, Amanda worked for Purdue University in Economic and Community Development, assisting communities in Indiana with community & public policy engagement, entrepreneurship, leadership & civic engagement, learning centers & workforce, and strategic planning & visioning. Some of her accomplishments while in this role include her part in the development of a young professional’s network, on which she served on the board, along with an opportunity to serve as a Small Business Development Specialist on a USAID project in Costa Rica. In 2012 she was recognized as one of Michiana’s 40 Under 40. Amanda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Washington State University and a Master’s degree in Urban & Regional Planning, with an emphasis on Economic Development, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
