Matt Largen
Director
Matt Largen serves as the Director of the Office of Economic Development for Williamson County, Tennessee where he manages and directs countywide economic development strategies, including retention and expansion of existing business, recruitment of new business, and entrepreneurship.
Largen has extensive experience in the office market, including serving as the project lead on the Mars PetCare corporate campus and global research center project, Jackson National Life Insurance Company regional headquarters project, which will eventually result in 750 new jobs for Williamson County and the Verizon Wireless state of Tennessee headquarters project, which resulted in 1,300 new jobs for Williamson County.
He previously served as the Director of Business Recruitment at the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce for three and-a-half years. Largen moved to Nashville seven years ago from Little Rock where he served as the business development coordinator at the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce. He first began work in economic development through the office of U.S. Senator Blanche Lincoln. Largen earned a bachelor’s degree at Henderson State University and a master’s degree at the University of New Hampshire. He was named to the Nashville Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list in 2011, is a graduate of the Economic Development Institute at the University of Oklahoma and is a recent graduate of Leadership Franklin.

Jeremiah Pyron
Marketing Director
As marketing director, Jeremiah is responsible for increasing awareness of Williamson County and developing website, brand enhancement and external marketing activities that will encourage economic growth. He also assists in attracting new corporate investment in Williamson County and in working with existing companies on business retention or expansion strategies.
Prior to joining the Office of Economic Development, Pyron managed relationships for medium to large businesses at an information technology consulting firm in Cool Springs, while growing relationships with regional technology partners such as Microsoft, Cisco, EMC and Symantec. A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University he holds a degree in mass communication, with a focus in digital media and computer information systems. Pyron has 10 years of experience and involvement in the middle Tennessee business community. He is a recent graduate of Leadership Brentwood and is active in local Chambers of Commerce and nonprofit organizations, such as Mobile Loaves and Fishes, Habitat for Humanity and Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

Connie Clark
Executive Assistant
Connie has worked for the office of economic development as executive assistant since 1997. She is a seventh generation Williamson Countian.
Connie and her 3 children, 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren all live in downtown Franklin. Her oldest daughter, Connie Clark, Jr., is a Tennessee Supreme Court Justice.
