A look at Williamson County’s growth over 10 years

The federal Bureau of Economic Analysis released its update of county-by-county compensation totals for every county in the U.S. This time, we take a look at Williamson County’s growth over the past 10 years. Overall, the numbers are reflective of what we’ve known about Williamson County for years — it’s booming. Overall compensation grew by 110 percent from 2001 to 2010. Overall compensation for workers in Williamson now stands at $5.9 billion annually. The population growth rate was about 45 percent in the same time frame.
